General conditions of sale

These conditions (the "Conditions") apply exclusively to the relations between HANKO S.à rl ("HANKO", "HANKO Luxembourg" or the "Company") and the author of the order (the "Customer") and govern their relations concerning any order of product by the site. www.hanko.lu (the “site”). The site is intended for professionals (companies, administrations, liberal professions, artisans, traders, associations and communities) and individuals.

1) General

These Conditions are deemed to be known to any Customer placing an order regardless of the method used, and constitute unconditional acceptance of said Conditions by the Customer. As a result, any contrary clause cannot be used against HANKO to the extent that it has been formally accepted by the Company.

HANKO reserves the right to modify these Conditions at any time.

2) Price

The prices indicated on the site may be modified at any time. The prices charged are those in effect at the time of the order. The prices indicated are exclusive of taxes. The prices are exclusive of participation in shipping costs. The site automatically calculates shipping costs based on the items in the basket and their destination.

3) Delivery/receipt

Supplies are generally shipped within 24 hours by mail. Any complaints for non-conformity must be sent as quickly as possible to HANKO by email at the address info@hanko.lu. Late complaints, beyond 48 hours, cannot be taken into account and the Customer's liability is then only and fully engaged. The transfer of risks takes place from HANKO.

The Company reserves the right to make any changes to the products that the Company deems useful at any time. Product insurance is the responsibility of the Customer upon delivery.

4) Product availability / Out of stock

Any offer from HANKO will only be valid while stocks last. In the event of a possible stock shortage affecting a Customer's order and if the replenishment exceeds 3 working days, HANKO will indicate to this Customer a new delivery time. The Customer may cancel his order and be reimbursed if applicable.

In the event of unavailability of a product, HANKO may suggest to the Customer to deliver another product of quality and price equivalent to the first. The Company reserves the right to cancel all or part of the orders paid by its Customers in the event of failure of its suppliers by reimbursing any amount already paid by the Customer and relating to the orders concerned.

5) Special manufacturing, off-site products

Any order concerning special manufacturing implies acceptance by the Customers of the quantity and dimension tolerances in use in the profession.

The same applies to any order for products not listed in the catalogue, which must comply with the minimum sales unit imposed by the manufacturer or importer.

(Otherwise it will be rounded up to this quantity.)

6) Payment

By credit card when placing the order or by bank transfer. If the Customer opts for bank transfer, the order will only be shipped after receipt of payment, which is generally within one working day for transfers between banks located in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

7) Satisfied or refunded

All products on the site, unless otherwise indicated, benefit from the "Satisfied or refunded" clause and except for any problems with typing errors made by the author of the order, under which the Customer may be refunded or exchanged the product(s) delivered according to the terms described in Article 8 Return Conditions below for 7 days from receipt of the product. HANKO Sàrl, however, reserves the right to refuse the exchange or refund of any product ordered on the basis of a quote.

8) Return conditions

To make a return, you must obtain our prior authorization by sending an email to info@hanko.lu who will inform you about the procedure to follow. For an order cancellation, the amount of the item excluding shipping costs will be refunded to you by bank transfer after receipt of the product. Please also specify the reason for the return.

For an exchange, the product must be returned at your expense. Products will only be taken back if complete, in perfect condition and in their original packaging, with consumables delivered unopened, packaging intact and contents compliant. Beyond the deadlines indicated in Article 7 above, the products delivered will be deemed to comply with the Customer's order and accepted in full by the Customer.

In case of a text error on the rubber plate, the Customer can order a new plate that will replace the one containing the error. In any case, the manufacturing costs of the plate containing the error cannot be reimbursed.

9) Guarantees

HANKO only warrants that the products shipped are free from manufacturing and material defects. HANKO's sole obligation under this warranty shall be, at its option, to repair, replace or credit the Customer's account according to its possibilities and no compensation may be claimed by the Customer due to a delay in the delivery of the replaced or repaired products.

The warranty period is limited to a period of 1 year from the date of shipment of the products. The amount of the warranty cannot exceed the amount of the order placed by the Customer. Defective products must be returned to HANKO, the return shipping costs remain your responsibility and they will be examined in order to provide proof of their non-conformity to the manufacturing or material standards and that this non-conformity has in no case been caused by accident, mishandling, negligence, modification, misuse, repair or improper testing on the part of the Customer.

Any replacement of a product recognized as defective does not give rise to the extension of the warranty set out above.

HANKO's warranty for the Products is strictly limited to the provisions herein, to the exclusion of any other express, implied, statutory or other warranty.

10) Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

For all disputes relating to the execution of the contract between HANKO and the Customer, the Commercial Court of Luxembourg shall have sole jurisdiction. These Conditions, as well as any contract entered into by the Company and subject to them, shall be governed and governed by Luxembourg law.

11) Miscellaneous provisions

The photos and graphics on the site are only indicative and do not bind the Company in any way, nor can the Company be held responsible for typographical errors. All texts and images presented on the site, for the whole world, are reserved under copyright and intellectual property rights, their reproduction, even partial, is prohibited.

The brands mentioned on the site are the property of the companies concerned. The characteristics of the products presented may be modified according to technical developments and the evolution of the offer of HANKO suppliers

The client undertakes to hold the reproduction rights of the brand, logo, image, signature, or other, and this in compliance with the conditions of validity provided for this purpose by the industrial property code, acting in disregard of these rules would constitute the offense of counterfeiting. The Company will request to produce all necessary authorizations for all official or other documents, if this proves necessary, before the manufacture of the stamp.

12) Data protection and freedoms

HANKO is committed to protecting your personal data. All personal data concerning you that we have collected is treated with the strictest confidentiality, in accordance with the provisions of our personal data protection policy. When you place your orders, we only ask you for the information that is essential to ensure the quality of our services and the processing of your order. We do not sell, market or rent this information to third parties. You have the right to access and rectify your personal data. To exercise this right, you can modify your personal information at any time using your username and password by accessing your account or by sending an email to info@hanko.lu.

By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read our personal data protection policy and consent to our collection and use of this data.
